I think what you said made a ton of sense. However, what about this? what if you were to create a killer headline? I ain't saying your information is not good., but what if you added a title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You ought to peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they write post headlines to grab viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a related picture or two to grab readers excited about what you've written. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
